Description

The Doggett Family of Companies is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing, branding, and business development efforts of multiple construction-related companies throughout the Southeast. This position plays a critical role in promoting our companies, projects, people, and culture through social media, digital marketing, events, public relations, content creation, and brand management.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing day-to-day marketing activities across multiple brands while collaborating closely with leadership, operations, recruiting, and business development teams. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

  • Manage and grow company social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Create engaging content (project updates, employee updates, company culture posts, safety and training highlights, recruiting campaigns)
  • Schedule and monitor content using social media management platforms.
  • Respond to inquiries and engage with followers.
  • Assist in social media advertising campaigns and performance reporting.
  • Support SEO and SEM initiatives to improve online visibility.

Content Development

  • Write and publish SEO-optimized content for company websites, blogs, project announcements and case studies.
  • Develop marketing materials including brochures, flyers, presentations, and client leave-behinds.
  • Create press releases for new hires, promotions, project awards, company milestones, and industry recognition. 

 Website & Brand Management

  • Maintain and update company websites for multiple brands.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Manage and maintain company brand standards and brand guides.
  • Monitor website analytics and recommend improvements.

Photography, Video & Visual Content

  • Travel to local jobsites and company events to capture project photography, drone footage (when applicable), progress videos, team and culture content. 
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and photographers.
  • Organize and maintain digital asset libraries.

 Email Marketing

  • Create and distribute quarterly company newsletters, monthly email campaigns, client communications, and maintain email marketing databases and contact lists.
  • Track performance metrics and campaign effectiveness

 Event Planning & Public Relations

  • Organize and support company events including annual company golf tournament, Christmas party, client appreciation events, industry networking events, career and fairs. 
  • Coordinate sponsorships and community involvement activities.
  • Manage company-owned event tickets and hospitality opportunities.
  • Assist with media relations and public outreach efforts.

Marketing Operations & Administrative Support

  • Manage company apparel programs and online company stores.
  • Coordinate promotional products, gifts, and print materials.
  • Oversee business card administration (traditional and digital).
  • Maintain marketing software platforms and vendor relationships.
  • Manage company QR code program and branded signage.
  • Assist with Google Business profiles and account management.
  • Maintain marketing-related passwords, subscriptions, and digital assets.

Business Development Support

  • Collaborate with Business Development and Operations teams on strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Support proposal development and presentation materials.
  • Help identify opportunities to showcase completed projects and company expertise.
  • Coordinate project announcements and success stories across all companies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or related field; or Associate Degree with relevant professional experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Assistant, Communications, or related marketing role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Construction, engineering, real estate, or related industry experience.
  • Experience with Constant Contact, SEMrush, Later, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Google Analytics and WordPress or website content management systems.
  • Experience creating and editing photo and video content.
  • Understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing best practices.

Travel Requirements

Approximately 20% local travel to jobsites, company events, client functions, and industry events.
