This role will own core legal processes and systems, such as contract lifecycle management (CLM), legal intake, e-billing, and matter management, while driving continuous improvement, adoption, and efficiency. You will partner closely with attorneys, cross-functional stakeholders, and business teams to ensure Legal is delivering high-quality, business-oriented support.

This is a hands-on role for a strong operator who thrives on building processes, managing systems, and creating insights through data and reporting.

You Will:
  • Own and refine the contract management process through our CLM platform (Ironclad), partnering with Commercial Counsel to drive efficiency and consistency.

  • Manage the legal intake and matter management process, ensuring smooth triage and tracking from request to completion.

  • Administer and optimize the Legal team’s technology stack (CLM, eBilling, matter management, knowledge management tools).

  • Lead reporting and analytics on legal operations metrics (e.g., contract volumes, spend, cycle times, resourcing), providing insights for strategic decision-making.

  • Develop and deliver training, playbooks, and self-service resources to enable the business to work effectively with Legal.

  • Partner with Finance, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to support vendor management, outside counsel engagement, and budget tracking.

  • Support and evolve the Legal team’s intranet/knowledge hub.

  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements to enhance Legal’s scalability, efficiency, and impact.

  • Serve as a trusted partner and thought leader to attorneys and business stakeholders on operational best practices.

You Have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in legal operations, legal project management, or a related function.

  • 2+ years working in or closely with an in-house legal team with a strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and legal process design.

  • Hands-on experience with CLM technology (Ironclad strongly preferred) and familiarity with eBilling/matter management tools.

  • Strong technical acumen and comfort with legal tech implementation, administration, and adoption.

  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects from initiation through execution, with strong change management skills.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Analytical mindset with experience turning data into insights and actionable recommendations.

  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a track record of improving processes and delivering measurable results.

  • Ability to work independently while building strong relationships across teams.

Our Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):
  • Competitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles

  • Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days

  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave

  • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)

  • 401k benefits with employer matching contribution

  • Offsite team retreats

We are committed to building a workforce that reflects diverse perspectives and prioritizes ethics, wellness, and a strong sense of belonging. If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply—even if you're not sure if your background or experience is a perfect match.
