Legal Operations Manager
SailPoint’s legal team is tasked with building, protecting and expanding SailPoint's competitive advantage and customer experience. We intelligently manage risk, shaping strategy to drive better business decisions for our internal and external environment.
As a Legal Operations Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and scaling the legal function. You’ll be responsible for implementing legal technologies including wider adoption of AI, establishing operational processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations. You will be a key asset in building the legal team and overseeing the connective tissue between legal, finance, engineering, compliance, and executive teams—ensuring the legal department operates as a strategic enabler of growth and risk management.
Responsibilities:
Partner with General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel to drive legal department strategic planning process, including goal development, measurement and communication
Drive execution of legal’s strategic initiatives through development and management of key legal workflows
Develop innovative processes and procedures to support effective efficient program management and business operations, including building central repositories for knowledge sharing, scalable playbooks and identifying new legal tools that support rapid business scaling
Identify, track and report on key metrics related to legal’s in-house legal service delivery model
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, business development, regulatory, IT, and finance to streamline cross-functional initiatives and operations
Partner with legal and compliance teams to create and maintain standardized tracking and evaluation of risk assessments and mitigation plans to support a rapidly growing business
Requirements:
BA or BS required
5+ years of experience in legal operations, legal program management or similar role—preferably within a technology company
Prior experience developing playbooks and policies
Strong project management skills and a track record of driving cross-functional initiatives to completion
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple deadlines

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):
$100,700 - $143,800 - $186,900Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
