THE JOB

The Head of Ancillary Revenue will be responsible for the oversight of consistent guidelines and application thereof, for Ticketmaster (presale/upsell) and onsite revenue opportunities for Venue Nation, including but not limited to Premier Parking, Lawn Chairs, Fast Lane, VIP Club/Lounge, Camping, Future Ticket Sales, On Site seating upgrades, bundling of products and other ancillary revenue upsells as assigned.  This leader will spend time in many of our 100+ venues across the country ensuring that consistent guidelines and best practices are followed to drive ancillary revenue sales.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • The Head of Ancillary Revenue will manage the Pricing/Ticketing team on marketing, pricing, and revenue management for all concert events for all ancillary revenue products.
  • Upsell Management- The Head of Ancillary Revenue will be trained in the use of Ticketmaster to assist the box office managers with building upsells for each amphitheater show, including but not limited to Premier Parking, VIP Club/Lounge, Lawn Chair Rentals, Bundled Packages, Reserved lawn, Camping, and other Ancillary products.
  • Pricing strategies: This role will be responsible for discussing and implementing pricing strategies and national learnings for each show.   This leader will converse with the GM’s and Regional Operations Leaders on best practices, dynamic pricing, and revenue execution as shows play off. 
  • The Head of Ancillary Revenue will be responsible for creatively finding new revenue streams for Venue Nation facilities.
  • The Head of Ancillary Revenue will work with the General Managers and national venue marketing team to drive meaningful upsells on each event through click-throughs on fan journeys and other promotions.
  • Finding and implementing new technology solutions including working with Ticketing team and Ticketmaster.
  • Overseeing capital projects with upsell opportunities in conjunction with RVP’s, GM’s, Premium Seat Sales leadership and other LOB leaders
  • Creating budget growth strategies
  • Collaborate with analytics

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Working knowledge of local and regional markets, concerts operations, computers (Windows environment, spreadsheet, databases, word processing) and guest relations.
  • Skilled in interpersonal communications, organizational concepts and financial knowledge.
  • Ability to delegate, follow up, relate to staff and guests and clients in a positive effective manner.
  • Three to five years of experience in the concert industry.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long period of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds.
  • Flexible Schedule (days/nights, weekends).
  • High school diploma required.
  • Business Acumen
  • Data-driven/Metrics-driven
