The Litigation Legal Analyst is an integral member of the in-house litigation team, partnering with business partners, and internal and external counsel to support litigation, arbitration, dispute resolution, and regulatory matters involving Vanguard and its subsidiaries. This role conducts legal and factual research, investigates complaints and disputes, gathers and analyzes documentation, and collaborates with attorneys and business partners to support case strategy and resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Support litigation, arbitration, dispute resolution, and regulatory investigations.
  • Research issues raised in complaints, disputes, and inquiries.
  • Gather, review, analyze, and organize documents and client information.
  • Partner with attorneys, outside counsel, and business stakeholders to support legal matters and facilitate information sharing.
  • Prepare case summaries and recommendations for counsel.
  • Assist with subpoenas, court orders, and other litigation-related activities.
  • Maintain litigation files, reporting, legal databases, and case calendars.
  • Identify risks, recommend solutions, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Exercise sound judgment in handling routine matters and appropriately escalate complex issues.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of legal, paralegal, litigation support, or related experience.
  • Experience with legal research, fact investigation, document collection, and case support.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to work independently.
  • Experience supporting litigation or regulatory matters within financial services.
  • Proven ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies.
  • FINRA dispute resolution or arbitration experience preferred.
  • Experience working with the SEC, FINRA, or similar regulatory agencies preferred .
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
