In this role, you will:
- Provide technical leadership for complex, multi-domain initiatives, ensuring high-quality engineering outcomes across supported platforms.
- Oversee system monitoring and operational oversight to enhance efficiency, minimize disruptions, and proactively mitigate risk.
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of applications, system components, tools, utilities, models, simulations, and analytical solutions that support sophisticated business functions.
- Address and resolve advanced coding, testing, and platform-level issues, including escalations requiring deep technical expertise.
- Guide engineering teams to meet compliance, governance, and risk-management expectations, partnering with key stakeholders to execute core risk initiatives.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical coaching and helping strengthen engineering capabilities across the team.
- Collaborate with professionals at all organizational levels, including management, to drive alignment and influence technical decision-making.
- Lead teams toward established objectives, ensuring delivery is consistent, timely, and aligned to strategic goals.
- Partner closely with production support and platform engineering teams to ensure stability, performance, and reliability of supported systems.
- Direct technical initiatives across Pega Knowledge, enterprise automation frameworks, and process-intelligence ecosystems.
- Architect and implement automation solutions leveraging Pega, APIs, event-driven architectures, and low-code orchestration platforms.
- Build, orchestrate, and optimize workflow integrations across AI and automation technologies (e.g., Skan.ai and Pega) to enable seamless data exchange and system interoperability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues associated with Pega and Skan.ai, system integrations, and automation workflows.
- Convert complex business needs into clear technical requirements and partner with product owners to refine and prioritize the backlog.
- Work with architects and principal engineers to design AI-enabled workflows, scalable automation patterns, and integrated architectural solutions.
- Support UAT planning and execution, validate end-to-end solution functionality, and ensure successful deployment and hypercare transition.
- Design, build, test, and deploy applications, utilities, system components, and data-driven analytical tools.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for process intelligence, advising on taxonomy, content structure, workflow optimization, and governance best practices.
- Provide coaching to product teams, business analysts, and junior engineers on Pega design patterns, platform features, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor less-experienced engineers and collaborate with leadership to enhance engineering maturity and delivery excellence across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 3+ years of analyzing process mining insights that translate into technology enabled process improvements.
Desired Qualifications
- Practical experience working with Pega platforms in a hands-on engineering or configuration capacity.
- Pega certifications such as CSA, CSSA, or BA.
- Experience using Celonis, Skan.ai, Pega or comparable task/process-mining technologies.
- Background developing reusable automation components and integrating with enterprise-scale systems.
- Strong analytical abilities and an understanding of operational-excellence methodologies.
- Familiarity with task-mining capabilities, including configuration and masking concepts.
- Proficiency in process design and object-driven modeling, including strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0.
- Experience with process analytics, workflow evaluations, and productivity analysis.
- Ability to interpret system logs, desktop analytics outputs, and user-activity capture data.
- Awareness of LLM-driven insights, continuous-observation frameworks, and emerging AI-enabled workflow methodologies.
