In this role, you will:
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of advanced Python development experience building production services, integrating APIs, and managing data pipelines
- 4+ years of experience working with Generative AI, large language models, or foundation models
- 3+ years building, deploying, and maintaining Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, including production integrations between LLMs and external tools or data sources
- 3+ years serving in a technical lead role, with responsibility for architectural decisions, code quality standards, and mentoring engineers
- 2+ years of experience with UI/UX - React, Java script, neo4j, MongoDB & Tachyon
- 2+ years of experience with either GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong software engineering background with experience building and operating production-grade systems (e.g., distributed services, APIs, CI/CD integrations).
- Demonstrated experience applying Generative AI and/or agentic AI to real-world workflows, including LLM-based automation, AI agents, or copilots embedded in developer tools or platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with modern AI ecosystems (e.g., GitHub Copilot, agent frameworks, prompt orchestration, evaluation, and model integration patterns).
- Experience integrating AI into SDLC tooling such as source control, backlog management, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, or compliance workflows.
- Ability to translate engineering and delivery pain points into AI-driven solutions with measurable impact (e.g., flow efficiency, quality, cycle time, or developer productivity).
- Strong collaboration skills with product, platform, and architecture partners, and the ability to influence SDLC evolution through working software rather than process alone
