About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Scrum Master to support Technology of Enterprise Business Resiliency (EBR) group. TCAO organization provides technical solutions to supporting various regulatory requirements (e.g., Recovery and Resolution Planning) and modernization of the tools to manage business continuity and resiliency. We have regulatory hard deadlines that are set for this year through 2026, therefore, our team is seeking a full time Scrum Master who can help manage deliverables, coach the product and delivery teams to increase efficiencies and velocity and help adhere to the Wells Fargo change management policies (e.g., TCM and SDLC). This position also requires specialty knowledge of ServiceNow.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop Scaled Agile portfolios of the highest complexity
  • Guide the teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
  • Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
  • Oversee systemic impediments to team agility and guide the teams on methods to escalate
  • Deliver capabilities using agile practices while following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met
  • Partner with discipline managers to convey their concerns to scrum teams about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
  • Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the teams and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Train other Scrum Masters and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile tools
  • 5+ years of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) experience
  • 5+ years of JIRA experience
  • 5 + years of technology release or implementation experience 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with Software Delivery Lifecycle Process
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD integration and ServiceNow
  • Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing
  • Ability to work with situations of ambiguity, conflict, and uncertainty
  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution ability
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Advanced JIRA and Confluence skills, specifically advanced usage of JIRA dashboards, reports and plans

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
