About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Project Manager to support strategic Fraud & Claims Management (FCM) transformation initiatives focused on modernizing critical claims processing capabilities and enabling future digital and AI-driven experiences. This role will provide end-to-end project management leadership across complex, cross-functional initiatives involving business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and governance stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive execution of large-scale platform transformation efforts that improve customer experience, simplify operations, and establish foundational capabilities for future innovation.
The Lead Project Manager will serve as a trusted delivery leader responsible for driving complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through implementation, ensuring executive visibility, governance compliance, stakeholder alignment, and successful achievement of business outcomes.

In this role, you will:
- Lead delivery execution for large-scale fraud and claims transformation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules.
- Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, action items, and dependency resolution activities.
- Coordinate execution across business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and governance partners.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions, decisions, and alignment across multiple organizations.
- Drive project governance activities, including executive reporting, status updates, and escalation management.
- Support implementation planning, business readiness, testing coordination, and deployment activities.
- Monitor project progress against commitments and proactively address delivery risks.
- Develop executive-ready presentations, communications, and reporting materials.
- Ensure adherence to Wells Fargo delivery, governance, risk management, and policy requirements.
- Establish accountability structures and action plans that promote execution discipline across workstreams.
- 5+ years of Project Management, Program Management, Strategic Planning, or related experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional business and technology initiatives.
- Experience managing executive communications, stakeholder engagement, and governance processes.
- Experience with risk, issue, and dependency management within complex delivery environments.
- Experience developing integrated project plans and driving accountability across multiple teams
- .Experience supporting fraud, claims, financial services, operations, or technology organizations.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and modern product operating models.
- Experience using Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting large-scale platform modernization, migration, or transformation programs.
- Experience delivering initiatives involving customer servicing, workflow, case management, or operational platforms.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working within highly regulated financial services environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive execution without direct authority.
- Experience coordinating implementation, readiness, testing, and deployment activities across multiple organizations.
