IT SYSTEMS INTERN - SUMMER 2027

About Carolina Handling

We are a total automated warehouse solutions provider. We specialize in providing turnkey solutions for our customer's needs in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturers and any industry partner needing warehouse solutions. Our products and solutions allow our customers to move material faster and more efficiently by implementing automation equipment and technologies. We are also the largest certified Raymond dealer in the southeast for material handling equipment sales and service housed under the Toyota umbrella of North America (TINA).

Program Objective

The program allows students to gain corporate world experience. Each intern will be assigned a department-level project for the summer focused on improving a specific process within their department. The ten week program provides networking opportunities, roundtables, and business acumen training. Projects will be scoped as a tangible task or process the intern can reasonably complete in approximately 8-10 weeks. The final project details will be provided on the first day of the internship!

Job Details

The IT Systems Intern will support process and systems-related work within IT, partnering with Systems Engineer on documentation, reporting, analysis, and workflow improvements. This role offers exposure to IT operations and system administration, with a focus on identifying and improving repeatable operational processes.
