Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


•The Telecommunications Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining inventory profiles for each company location that includes details on all telecommunication provisions at the location (Circuits, POTS lines, etc) to identify a “monthly billing profile”.

•The Analyst will review, correlate, and process all telecommunications invoices. The Analyst will research and generate carrier billing disputes as needed for any material deviations from the normal billing patterns. The Analyst will be responsible for tracking any billing dispute through to issuance for credit by the carrier and escalate to management as required.

•The Analyst will generate standard, monthly expense reports as well as adhoc reports as requested by management.

•The Analyst will be responsible for opening carrier trouble tickets as needed for telecommunications circuits or services with assistance as need from technical team members. The Analyst will track repair status with the carrier to completion and generate monthly reports on trouble tickets.

•The Analyst will be responsible for collecting and consolidating the team metrics for reporting to upper management.

•The Analyst will be responsible for creating and tracking carrier new service or service cancellations. This will include validating proper billing and credits as necessary

•The Analyst will be responsible for all phases of Wireless Device Administration including new device requests, device upgrades, plan/feature changes, cost allocation and reporting. The Analyst will be expected to develop familiarity with commonly deployed devices and basic functionality.


REQUIREMENTS:


•Experience working with Telecommunications Industry – familiarity and understanding of the methods used by National and Local Carriers in their provisioning and billing processes

•Detailed oriented, demonstrated experience with complex reconciliations

•Experience with Calero / Veramark Telco Expense Management solution strongly preferred

•Bachelor’s degree is preferred

•Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
