White Oak Manor Charlotte is a Skilled Long Term Care facility, and we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Manager to lead and support our facility's HR operations. This key leadership role is responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and providing exceptional support to our employees and management team.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, knowledgeable in employment law and HR best practices, and passionate about employee engagement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives

  • Benefits administration and management

  • Payroll processing for facility staff

  • Compliance with personnel policies and procedures

  • Workers' compensation claims management

  • Unemployment claims administration and EEOC compliance

  • Employee relations support and conflict resolution

  • Policy interpretation and enforcement

  • HR reporting, recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance

  • Providing cross-functional support to department managers and leadership

  • Assisting with employee engagement and recognition programs

This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care

  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations

  • Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems

Schedule

🕒 Monday–Friday
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
