About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced product management leader to lead the strategy, development, modernization, and ongoing evolution of the enterprise electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) platform. Serves as the senior product executive responsible for transforming customer onboarding, Customer Identification Program, customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, screening, customer lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance capabilities across the enterprise.
Accountable for defining the product vision, multi-year strategy, investment roadmap, operating model, and delivery execution. Partners across Financial Crimes, Operations, Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Line of Business organizations to deliver scalable, secure, resilient, and regulatory-compliant customer lifecycle management solutions.
This leader oversees a team of Product Managers and Product Owners responsible for strategy, roadmap execution, technology modernization, business adoption, and value realization across the eKYC platform portfolio. The role balances regulatory commitments, business growth, operational efficiency, customer and employee experience, and technology modernization investments.
In this role, you will:
  • Define and execute the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for the enterprise eKYC platform.
  • Establish the product strategy for customer onboarding, Customer Identification Program, customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, screening, customer lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance capabilities.
  • Lead product investment planning, prioritization, capacity allocation, and portfolio management across multiple product teams and initiatives.
  • Drive migration from legacy platforms, fragmented workflows, and manual processes to modern, scalable customer lifecycle management solutions.
  • Partner with Technology leadership to establish architecture direction, integration strategy, modernization roadmaps, platform resiliency, security, and production support expectations.
  • Lead product strategy for workflow automation, artificial intelligence, customer journey optimization, data products, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Audit, Financial Crimes, and control partners to translate regulatory and policy requirements into sustainable product capabilities.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and problem framing through requirements, build, testing, release, adoption, stabilization, and value realization.
  • Establish and monitor product key performance indicators, platform adoption measures, delivery performance, operational outcomes, control effectiveness, and business value.
  • Drive customer data strategy, data quality improvements, identity and party management capabilities, lineage, controls, and integration with enterprise data platforms.
  • Ensure testing, release readiness, operational readiness, training, documentation, production deployment, and post-implementation support are incorporated into delivery plans.
  • Manage portfolio investment decisions by balancing regulatory commitments, risk reduction, operational efficiency, platform sustainability, and business growth.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, organizational change, business readiness, and adoption across impacted business and operations teams.
  • Build, develop, and retain a high-performing organization of Product Managers and Product Owners with clear accountability and strong product management discipline.
  • Present strategy, progress, risks, dependencies, outcomes, and investment recommendations to executive leadership and governance forums.
  • Serve as the executive product owner for enterprise eKYC transformation and customer lifecycle modernization
  • Manage and develop specialized teams of managers and professional individual contributors
  • Analyze customer and results-oriented information
  • Perform market research related to development and testing of services and products
  • Identify opportunities and strategies for establishing pricing policies, distribution strategies, technical systems, and customer requirements
  • Manage companywide efforts to align and coordinate distribution channels, systems requirements, product introduction, marketing, training, and ongoing product and service management
  • Lead teams by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex, unique, and critical product line issues to meet deliverables
  • Interpret and develop range of new products or product lines and product life cycle management for functions with moderate to high complexity and risk
  • Collaborate with and influence stakeholders, subject matter experts, project managers, and experienced leaders
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Product Management
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of Product Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience

  • Executive-level product leadership experience managing large-scale enterprise platforms and transformation programs.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders across Product, Technology, Operations, Data, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and business organizations.
  • Experience managing complex product portfolios, technology investments, budgets, capacity, dependencies, and multi-year roadmaps.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with disciplined execution and delivery of measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success leading platform modernization, legacy migration, organizational change, and adoption of new capabilities.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory, policy, risk, and operational requirements into scalable technology-enabled solutions.
  • Strong technology acumen and the ability to challenge and influence architecture, data, integration, workflow, testing, release, and modernization decisions.
  • Ability to establish clear ownership, decision rights, delivery expectations, and performance measures in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and lead high-performing Product Managers and Product Owners.
  • Executive communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues, frame trade-offs, and drive timely decision

  • Rules Engines and Decisioning - Configurable business rules, policy translation, customer risk assessments, workflow routing, controls, and automated decision support.
  • Artificial Intelligence and Automation - Intelligent workflow, digital agents, analytics, document search, data capture, quality control, and exception-based processing.
  • Cloud and Platform Modernization - Scalable platform architecture, resiliency, security, environment strategy, legacy migration, and sustainable modernization investments.
  • Product Delivery and DevSecOps - Discovery, requirements, backlog management, development, testing, release management, operational readiness, production support, and continuous improvement.
  • Technology Risk and Controls -Technology governance, information security, privacy, audit evidence, regulatory controls, release approvals, and risk management.
  • User Experience and Adoption - User-centered design, workflow simplification, accessibility, training, operational effectiveness, stakeholder feedback, and product adoption.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
