Your Impact at Encompass

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead internal and external reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and deliver strategic financial insights to drive business performance. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making across the organization.

What You'll Do:
  • Own all internal and external monthly reporting, including executive leadership readouts, sponsor reporting, and lender reporting
    • Prepare insights on variance vs. plan
    • Perform additional ad-hoc analyses as needed
    • Maintain the accuracy and cleanliness of underlying files
    • Assist with and/or own the development of new reporting files to meet business needs
  • Master KPI reporting for the business - continuously suggest new metrics that can be tracked to improve decision-making, financial performance, and accountability
  • Play a critical role in supporting the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes via financial modeling, validation of historical data, and go-forward business assumptions
  • Assist with quarterly BoD presentations, including analysis of financial performance and other strategic finance topics
  • Serve as a strategic partner for cross-functional executive leadership on all financial related topics including department-level performance vs. plan, headcount and capacity planning, churn, and ROI analyses
  • Act as a strategic thought partner for Director of Finance and CFO
    • Utilize data-driven insights to flag areas of risk and opportunity
    • Leverage core understanding of the business and ROI frameworks to suggest and/or validate cost reduction and investment opportunities
    • Continuously drive to improve the status quo via process and system improvements
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure the accuracy of the financial statements
    • Be an active and engaged participant in month-end flux meetings reviewing trends and variances vs. plan
  • Assist with cash management and liquidity planning as it relates to plan execution, covenant compliance, and approval for incremental investment
  • Engage with third parties (auditors, lenders, lawyers, PE sponsors, etc.) on an as-needed basis with the utmost level of accuracy and professionalism
  • Develop analytical frameworks as needed to drive key business decisions
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reporting and analytical schedules to support third-party tax specialists in meeting compliance and filing obligations across jurisdictions
    • International tax projects include annual tax returns and R&D tax credit claim lodgments in Australia, as well as the ongoing review of the appropriateness of the Group’s transfer pricing methodologies
What You'll Bring:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Qualifications and Skills:
    • 5+ years' experience in FP&A role at enterprise software business OR 2 years investment banking analyst experience plus 3 years enterprise software FP&A
    • Exceptional excel skills, including 3-statement financial modeling
    • High proficiency in NetSuite ERP and strong knowledge of GAAP
    • Mastery of SaaS KPIs and business fundamentals
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, executive leadership, and 3rd parties
    • Strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
    • Ability operate proactively and independently with minimal guidance
    • Perform day-to-day responsibilities with the utmost integrity and discretion
Additional Details

This role will receive a competitive salary + bonus + benefits. The salary for US-based employees located in the below markets may expect offers in the below ranges for this role.

US Annual Base Salary Range:  $100,000 - $130,000 plus bonus program.  A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation, including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above based on these considerations.

Location:  We are a hybrid work environment.  This is a U.S.-based remote position with working hours that best overlap with Australian business hours, with a preference for candidates in the West Coast time zone.

Travel:  This position could require overnight travel to corporate offices. Additional travel could include attendance of conferences and trade shows.
