Job Description:

The FP&A Manager is driven, organized, energetic and oversees our financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across business units as well as assist with the month close process. As the owner of FP&A for a division, you will provide support for a Senior Leader in order to facilitate decision making. This role is highly visible and challenging with multiple opportunities to interact with executive management.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis activities on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cadence.
  • Manage the 3-year P&L, Balance Sheet, and liquidity/cash flow projection models and the associated data gathering and research process which includes servicing, capital markets and financing activities.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership Team members to drive growth and financial accountability which includes owning the Domo reporting process/relationship.
  • Manage expenditure and headcount across business units, providing visibility to senior leaders which includes analyzing our operations staff by metrics with the Power tool as well as crafting relevant KPls necessary to measure business performance.
  • Lead the financing reporting process which includes board reporting and other financial reporting packages
  • Represent Finance in driving key company-wide initiatives. Provide financial support to stakeholders to enhance ROI. Analyzes and prepares variance analysis for monthly cost center reports and roll-ups, including cost allocations and other allocations.
  • Support accounting in the monthly close process including branch margin analysis and other capital markets activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results and ensures that reported result comply with GAAP.
  • Assist with the annual audit and the preparation of external/internal financial statements/reporting, submission of regulatory filings, and coordination of related audit/tax support.
  • Analyzes and prepares variance analysis for monthly cost center reports and roll-ups, including cost allocations and other allocations.

Who you are:

  • Finance professional with at least 5+ years of work experience in Accounting and/or Financial Analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated high-level knowledge of financial accounting, economics, and corporate Finance.
  • Advanced modeling skills with Excel and other software
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
  • Ability to rapidly build business acumen by understanding business strategies and execution plans.
  • Comfortable analyzing large volumes of complex data and communicating findings concisely.
  • A focus on partnering, satisfied customers, and finding solutions to problems proactively.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A background in the mortgage industry highly preferred
