The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains a detailed production schedule from the production plan.

  • Executes daily, Fabrication Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules, kit Weld orders and Request stock from warehouse.

  • Establishes sequence and lead time of each operation to meet Assembly dates per the master schedule/plan obtained from the Fabrication Master Scheduler.

  • Monitors schedule adherence, identifies key root causes for deviation, and takes follow-up improvement action and expedites hot orders from Assembly through the Fabrication shop.

  • Feeds information on production capacity issues and material availability to Assembly and the Fabrication Master Scheduler.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with budget management and performance management.

  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

  • Demonstrated project management experience.

  • Knowledge of inventory management and control practices.

  • Experience in logistics, order handling, and fulfillment.

  • Ability to perform resource management and capacity planning.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required

  • Ability to safely operate and use common tools, including tape measures, calipers, grinders, and other hand tools, as needed.

  • Ability to safely use a ladder while performing job duties, as required.

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
