Medstreaming, a Harris Computer Systems company, is seeking a driven and strategic Director of
Sales & Business Development to lead sales growth across North America. This individual will be
responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving new customer acquisition,
managing key customer relationships, and overseeing the integrity and performance of the sales
function. The ideal candidate is both a strategic leader and a hands-on sales professional who
thrives on prospecting, building pipelines, closing new business, and expanding market share. This
role combines sales leadership with direct revenue responsibility and will report to the Senior Vice
President. The candidate will be expected to have or develop a strong understanding of vascular
and cardiovascular workflows, reporting solutions, PACS, and healthcare IT environments.

What your impact will be:

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets
  • and growth objectives.
  • Establish sales territories, quotas, goals, and performance metrics.
  • Drive year-over-year revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular forecasts, reports, and recommendations to
  • executive leadership.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to identify growth
  • opportunities and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Professional Services, and R&D teams to support company objectives and go-to-market initiatives.

Business Development & New Customer Acquisition

  • Personally identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from initial engagement through contract execution.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with healthcare organizations, physician groups, hospitals, health systems, and strategic partners.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and expand brand awareness.
  • Strengthen relationships with industry associations and referral partners.  

Opportunity & Account Management

  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, including account activity, opportunities, forecasts, and pipeline status.
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of proposals, contracts, and pricing submissions.
  • Lead responses to RFPs and customer presentations.
  • Communicate Medstreaming's value proposition effectively to executive, clinical, and technical audiences.
  • Collect market intelligence and customer feedback to support product strategy and competitive positioning.

Customer & Team Leadership

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Support customer success initiatives and ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
  • Mentor and support future sales team growth and development.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in executive planning and contribute to overall business strategy.

What we are looking for:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of software sales experience, preferably within healthcare IT.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, prospecting, and new account acquisition.
  • Experience selling into hospitals, health systems, ambulatory practices, or cardiovascular/vascular organizations.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare technology sales cycles.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Travel Requirements:
-Monthly travel, up to 30% travel throughout North America

Salary Range:
$80 - 110K, eligible for commission.
