As the Director of Marketing at Gurobi Optimization, you will lead the execution of global marketing strategies for the Americas, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will oversee campaign development, brand positioning, demand generation, and cross-functional collaboration to drive pipeline growth, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
You will mentor and manage a high-performing marketing team, providing leadership in digital marketing, content strategy, and data-driven decision-making. Your ability to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability will be essential in achieving marketing excellence.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.
- Align marketing initiatives with company-wide objectives and sales priorities to maximize impact.
- Optimize digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Drive lead-generation initiatives to support sales pipeline growth and business expansion.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine targeting, improve conversion rates, and maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to optimize account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
- Oversee the development and execution of high-quality content (whitepapers, case studies, webinars, blog posts, and videos).
- Ensure brand consistency across all messaging, campaigns, and marketing materials.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitive positioning, and customer expectations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals to drive operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of creativity, ownership, and accountability within the marketing organization.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with business needs.
- Establish key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and inform decision-making.
- Manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure efficiency and impact.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership on campaign performance and market opportunities.
What experience and qualifications should you have?
- 10 years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in demand generation, campaign management, and digital marketing.
- Strong background in marketing analytics, automation tools (Marketo, HubSpot), and CRM platforms (Salesforce).
- Experience leading marketing programs for SaaS or technology-focused businesses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Proficient in using macOS and Microsoft 365.
- Fluent in managing and utilizing Marketo, a marketing automation platform.
- Comfortable with learning and utilizing Salesforce, a customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
