DeepJudge’s state-of-the-art knowledge retrieval system directs legal professionals to the internal insights that matter most, providing a strong foundation for AI-powered workflows. We’re headquartered in Switzerland, with a strong and fast-growing team in the United States and Canada, and cater to clients all around the world.
We’re a fast-paced team of builders, thinkers, and doers who care deeply about our craft. We’re also pet lovers, travelers, musicians, gamers, and so much more! Above all, we’re driven by a shared belief in what we’re building and the people we’re building it with.
We're seeking a Director of Marketing to lead and scale our marketing team, drive growth, and collaborate closely with our sales and product teams to achieve ambitious goals. This role is critical for setting the vision, priorities, and goals for our marketing strategy while also ensuring the successful execution of account-based marketing (ABM) and broader marketing initiatives.
You’ll be a “player/coach” to get started, setting the foundation for the marketing team’s success while directly contributing to high-priority initiatives. You will manage a growing team, spanning content development, data and analytics, campaign management, event and field marketing and partner enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Set priorities and goals for the marketing team, coaching and mentoring team members to achieve success. Manage a hiring plan and grow the team according to plan and budget.
- ABM Strategy: Collaborate with Sales to align ABM campaign priorities based on data and market insights. Oversee the development of targeted strategies for key accouts.
- Growth Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive funnel and pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and brand awareness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary interface with Sales and Customer Success, ensuring alignment on campaign goals, priorities, and outcomes. Partner with Product to understand and refine messaging and positioning.
- Campaign Oversight: Guide the team in executing focused and high-impact multichannel content marketing campaigns, spanning paid and earned media, PR, blogs, social, events, partners, etc.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics and reporting to optimize marketing performance, measure ROI, and make informed decisions about budget allocation.
- Hands-On Execution: Contribute directly to strategic initiatives, such as creating campaign strategies, refining messaging, and launching key projects. This could include drafting a LinkedIn post one day and working on an overall target account analysis the next day. You will do whatever needs to be done without ego.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, of which at least 3 years must be in a managerial or leadership role in a B2B SaaS/software company.
- Proven track record of driving growth through ABM and content marketing strategies.
- Proven track record of marketing success targeting businesses in the United States.
- Strong understanding of marketing technology stacks (e.g., HubSpot, ABM platforms) and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and effectively present to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing and scaling a team while staying hands-on with high-priority initiatives.
- Familiarity with LegalTech, text-content-based AI, or similar enterprise SaaS marketing is strongly preferred.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to prioritize effectively and execute efficiently.
- Enjoy learning and growing with the company.
What you can look forward to:
- A leadership role in shaping the future of a high-impact, high-growth, deep-tech scale-up.
- Opportunity to grow as a marketing leader as the company grows and scales
- Competitive compensation and a collaborative team environment.
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. If this role ignites a spark in you, but you're concerned about not meeting every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway – Just make sure to explain why you'd be a good fit.
This is important to us: DeepJudge is an equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability status.
