The Director IT, Organizational Change Management (OCM) will lead the people side of Honeywell’s enterprise S/4HANA transformation, helping employees and leaders adopt new processes, roles, behaviors, and ways of working enabled by the technology. Using the Prosci methodology and ADKAR model, this leader will set the enterprise change strategy, align sponsors, assess impacts, build readiness, and drive adoption across businesses, functions, regions, and deployment waves. This is an OCM leadership role—not a deeply technical SAP position—and will partner closely with program, process, technology, HR, Communications, and Learning teams to deliver measurable adoption and sustained business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise OCM strategy, roadmap, governance, and standards for the multi-year S/4HANA transformation.
  • Apply the Prosci 3-Phase Process—Prepare Approach, Manage Change, and Sustain Outcomes—and ADKAR to guide impacted employees from awareness through reinforcement.
  • Advise executive sponsors and business leaders on change impacts, sponsorship, readiness, resistance, and adoption priorities.
  • Lead an integrated change network of business change leads, site leaders, change champions, super users, HR, Communications, Learning, and external partners.
  • Direct stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, communications, leader engagement, training, readiness, resistance management, deployment, hypercare, and sustainment.
  • Translate S/4HANA process and technology changes into clear implications for roles, skills, behaviors, and daily work; partner with technical teams without owning solution design or system configuration.
  • Define and track readiness, training, adoption, proficiency, behavior-change, and benefits-realization measures; use insights to address risk and hold leaders accountable.
  • Build lasting enterprise change capability by coaching leaders, developing OCM talent, and improving methods across deployment waves.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in organizational change management, business transformation, or consulting, including leadership of complex global programs.
  • Demonstrated success leading the people and adoption workstream for a large-scale technology e transformation.
  • Knowledge of Change Management methodologies, preferably Prosci methodology.
  • Executive presence and strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and influencing skills across a variety of audiences from senior leaders and frontline teams.
  • Strong business and process acumen; sufficient technology fluency to partner effectively with SAP and program teams, with no expectation of deep technical configuration expertise.
  • Proven ability to use readiness, adoption, proficiency, and business-outcome data to steer execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A strategic, enterprise-minded change leader who combines deep OCM expertise with business acumen, empathy, and disciplined execution. The ideal candidate builds ownership across leaders and employees, translates complex transformation impacts into practical actions, and keeps the organization focused on adoption, proficiency, and sustained behavior change. This leader is comfortable working alongside technical teams but is primarily accountable for preparing and enabling people to use the new processes and technology successfully.
