The Director, Business Development – Partnerships focuses on developing relationships with our partners and growing business through this channel. 

Responsibilities

•    Revenue Growth:
Attain bookings and revenue goals for self. Own the partnership sales pipeline, revenue targets, ensuring growth.
•    Partner Management 
Collaborate with existing partners, manage relationships and grow based on the book of business. Build and nurture relationships with potential partners and establish partnership SoPs.


•    Sales Strategy and Business Development:
Reach set sales quota through growing existing relationships and new contacts/opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include presenting solutions and capabilities, generating pricing and proposals, pipeline management, leading customer meetings, and managing engagements.

•    CRM Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within the CRM system. Build and maintain both internal and external stakeholder relationships inclusive of cultivating partnership relationships to upsell accounts with additional product and services.

•    Collaboration:
Work with sales leader and extended sales team, marketing, delivery and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication to initiatives that drive awareness of capabilities and offerings.

•    Market Intelligence:
Be aware of and stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to most effectively position our solutions.
 

Qualifications

Required Work Experience:  
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare or life sciences specifically in data and analytics driven solutions delivery or commercialization. 
-2+ years of successful Business Development experience in the healthcare and life sciences industry. Demonstrated ability to attain sales quota.

Preferred Work Experience:  
- 2 or more years of experience in pharma RWD and analytics solutions space. 
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) and data usage rights. 
-Experience working with industry partners in a business development capacity that acts as RWD data aggregators, solutions providers and marketplaces. As well as Clinical Research/Trial companies

Physical and Mental Requirements: Sitting for long periods of time in front of a computer.

Technical /Job Specific Knowledge: 
•    RWD Experience – Experience in RWD solutions in healthcare and life sciences field. 
•    Sales Knowledge: Understanding of sales processes, customer behavior, and pricing techniques. 
•    Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis tools. 
•    Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Skills: 
•    Business Development Skills: Ability to prospect for new business/partners but also to grow existing relationships with established partners.
•    Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw conclusions. 
•    Data Management: Proficiency in using CRM systems and other data management tools. 
•    Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate insights and recommendations. 
•    Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and solve problems related to sales processes and pricing strategies. 


Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Analytics or related fields. 


Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Analytics or related fields.
