You will help teams improve delivery predictability, manage complex dependencies, and create clear visibility into priorities, risks, blockers, and outcomes.

This role does not require prior actuarial domain experience. The ideal candidate brings strong Agile delivery discipline, comfort working in complex data or technology environments, and the ability to help cross-functional teams stay focused, aligned, and continuously improving.

How You'll Help Move Us Forward

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Architects, Data Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders to support successful delivery of data initiatives.
  • Use Azure DevOps to manage backlogs, sprints, work item hygiene, team workflows, and delivery transparency.
  • Help teams manage dependencies across portfolios, programs, source systems, data engineering teams, downstream consumers, and business partners.
  • Establish and maintain clear visibility into risks, blockers, decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
  • Track and communicate team progress, delivery health, risks, and impediments to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Analyze delivery metrics and trends, using tools such as Power BI where appropriate, to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support release planning, quarterly planning, readiness reviews, and coordination across strategic initiatives and operational priorities.
  • Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles while adapting practices to fit data-centric delivery work.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, psychological safety, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
  • Help teams balance new delivery work with production support, data quality needs, regulatory priorities, and time-sensitive business commitments.
  • Drive issue resolution and escalation management to minimize impacts to program timelines and delivery commitments.
  • Support adoption of the Product Operating Model by improving team routines, workflow efficiency, and delivery transparency.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments, preferably supporting enterprise-scale organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, and practical experience applying Agile principles in real delivery environments.
  • Experience supporting teams responsible for data platforms, analytics, reporting, software development, technology delivery, or related technical products.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar Agile work management tools.
  • Ability to use metrics and reporting to improve team transparency, predictability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience identifying, managing, and resolving delivery risks, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Comfort working with distributed, hybrid, or vendor-supported teams.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience supporting enterprise data, analytics, reporting, data engineering, or data governance teams.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional programs involving multiple business and technology organizations.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms, cloud technologies, data quality processes, or data controls.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, or banking.
  • Scrum Master certification, such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP.
  • Experience using Power BI, Copilot, Power Automate, or similar tools to improve delivery reporting and team operations.
  • Experience mentoring team members or supporting Agile maturity improvements.
  • Strong storytelling skills to communicate team progress, delivery trends, and business impact through data.
