What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary risk SME for data-related risks across Personal Wealth.
  • Provide independent guidance and challenge regarding data governance, data quality, lineage, data management, and analytics controls.
  • Partner with product and technology leaders to identify emerging risks across the data supply chain and information ecosystem.
  • Advise teams on effective controls related to data integrity, accessibility, privacy, retention, and usage.
  • Evaluate risks associated with data modernization programs, cloud migration initiatives, data platforms, and analytics capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Data Governance, Technology Risk, Cybersecurity, Privacy, and other enterprise partners to promote consistent risk practices.
  • Influence strategic decisions through expert consultation, facilitation, and data risk insights.
  • Participate in special projects and broader Personal Wealth Risk priorities as needed.

What we’re looking for (qualifications):

  • Minimum 8-10 years of related experience in data management, data governance, technology risk, analytics, operational risk, audit, or compliance.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree is preferred, not required. 
  • Experience supporting large-scale data programs, data platforms, analytics initiatives, or digital transformations.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex organizational environments.
  • Ability to translate complex data risks into practical business recommendations.
  • Experience supporting digital products, technology-enabled services, analytics organizations, or business transformation initiatives.
