Job Description

Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for the development of our strategy to bring on new and grow existing partner relationships leveraging all available data sources and capabilities. The candidate will work closely with external vendors as well as internal marketing and analytics teams to uncover opportunities for growth and deepening partner relationships and customer engagement across all credit card product portfolio 

 

Core Job Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for working on big data/analytics projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, performs analysis, develop predictive models and/or segmentation trees. 

  • Interprets data and analyzes results using various statistical techniques and tools. 

  • Work with partners to create a secure data environment to build insights based on multiple data sources 

  • Leverage existing relationships to build out use cases from internal and external data sources to identify life-events 

  • Evaluate new tools, data, measurement techniques to assess the effectiveness of strategy 

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to enable data driven product management, customers & partners engagement 

  • Deliver insights and provide actionable recommendations based on reported results, benchmarks, discovered patterns and all necessary context. 

  • Lead efforts to build, develop and maintain dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions. 

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Working experience working on structured and unstructured data, proficient in analytics and statistical software such as SAS, SQL, Python, R or others to perform analyses and interpret data 

  • Experience in advanced analytics/statistics and predictive modeling 

  • Proficiency in analytics data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI  

  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities. 

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, excellent project management and collaboration skills. 

  • Demonstrated marketing and marketing research skills 

  • Familiarity with cardholder transactions data, network and other external data sources 

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
