Job Description Summary:

Amplify is looking for an experienced Contract Recruiter to join our People Team and help us find the mission-driven talent that powers our work. In this role, you will own the full recruitment life cycle from building thoughtful sourcing strategies and engaging inclusive candidate pools to partnering closely with hiring managers and driving offers to close.

This is more than a sourcing role. You will serve as a true talent advisor to the business consulting with hiring teams, shaping search strategies, and ensuring every candidate who interacts with Amplify walks away with an exceptional experience. This is a full-time contract position with an expected duration of 6 months, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full recruitment life cycle across a variety of functions including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management while delivering a high-quality, diverse slate of candidates to hiring managers

  • Develop and execute creative, thoughtful sourcing strategies to build robust talent pipelines for both exempt and non-exempt roles

  • Act as a strategic talent consultant and advisor to hiring managers partnering to define role requirements, align on search strategy, and set clear expectations around timing and delivery

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience at every stage of the process through timely, transparent, and thoughtful communication

  • Maintain deep subject matter expertise in the EdTech industry, including awareness of the competitive talent landscape and relevant recruitment resources

  • Ensure 100% accuracy in tracking and managing the recruitment process in Ashby, maintaining full compliance with Amplify's hiring practices and standards

  • Sustain a high level of productivity and quality during peak hiring periods without compromising the candidate or hiring manager experience

  • Support special projects and other People Team initiatives as needed


    Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience, ideally in an in-house environment

  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute creative sourcing strategies across a variety of functions including Product, Finance, Technology, Sales, and Administrative roles with a special focus on Product and Technology.

  • Strong ability to source, network with, and assess candidates across multiple disciplines and levels

  • Hands-on experience with Ashby ATS and Workday HRIS

  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and the Google Suite of products

  • Proven track record of managing multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous recruiting experience in the Education or EdTech industry

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently across all levels from entry-level candidates to senior leadership

  • Strong client service orientation with a demonstrated ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage competing priorities with minimal oversight

  • An innovative, solutions-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for process improvement
