Overview  

 We are seeking an experienced Organizational Development Consultant or Management Consultant to support a Fortune 100 client through a strategic organizational design and research effort. This consultant will lead hands-on internal and external research efforts to identify opportunities for front line organizational optimization, translate research findings into actionable recommendations, and develop a roadmap and execution strategy for implementation to improve employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate has experience working with complex enterprise front line organizations and has successfully led organizational design or development, defined strategy and transformation initiatives and synthesized research for implementation and execution. This is an exciting long term consulting opportunity involving two phases. Phase one will be a 2-3 month organizational design and research initiative to conduct on-site visits collecting employee feedback, conducting focus groups, and analyzing employee insights to prepare recommendations to leadership teams. Phase two will drive and deliver organizational development changes and execute recommendations. Phase one will include visiting dispersed US based client locations over a 4-6 week period then remote work in preparing recommendations, executive readouts and moving into implementation phase. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or visa transfers. Please note that we do not work C2C.

Responsibilities 

·       Design and execute comprehensive research studies to inform organizational design and optimization strategies.

·       Utilize research methodologies, including focus groups, stakeholder interviews, employee surveys, market research, benchmarking, and other qualitative and quantitative research approaches.

·       Conduct hands-on research and facilitate conversations with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.

·       Analyze and synthesize research findings to identify organizational trends, opportunities, gaps, and improvement areas.

·       Translate research findings into clear, actionable organizational design recommendations.

·       Develop strategic roadmaps that connect research findings and recommendations to practical implementation.

·       Create executive-ready presentations, reports, documentation, and other deliverables to communicate findings and recommendations.

·       Conduct readouts and presentations with stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leadership.

·       Partner with client stakeholders to align research findings with broader business objectives and organizational strategy.

·       Manage the transition from strategy and design into implementation and execution during a subsequent phase of the engagement.

- Develop ROI and business impact analyses to evaluate potential organizational changes and recommendations including KPIs and success metrics.


Requirements

·       Minimum of 7 years Consulting experience supporting large Fortune 100- 500 organizations in organizational research, organizational design or development, organizational effectiveness, strategy, or transformation related consulting engagements.

·       Hands-on practical experience designing and conducting research studies including focus groups, stakeholder interviews, organizational assessments, benchmarking, and research-driven strategic development.

·       Proven ability to take an engagement from research → analysis → recommendations → roadmap → implementation planning.

·       Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate complex findings into practical business recommendations.

·       Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.

·       Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel capabilities, with the ability to create polished, data-driven executive presentations and analyses.

·       Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate findings and develop ROI/business impact analyses and metrics.

·       Ability to independently manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality work in a consulting environment.

·       Experience presenting findings and delivering recommendations to audiences at all levels of an organization.

Education/Certifications

·       Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications or Business. Masters or advanced degree is helpful. Prosci change management certification is a plus.

Compensation

Sand Cherry Associates is required by Colorado law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long term, remote consulting opportunity with an annual salary range of $110,00 --$135,000. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
