The Compensation and Benefits Specialist supports the administration and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits programmes while ensuring efficient HR operational support. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to maintain compliance, manage employee enquiries, and support compensation-related initiatives

Qualifications

Requirements:


- Education

· Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.

- Experience

· 3–5 years of relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, or related HR functions.

· Experience within the BPO industry is an advantage.

· Final job title may vary depending on candidate experience.


- Technical Skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act is advantageous.

· Understanding of HR policies, SOPs, and HR systems (training will be provided where necessary).

· Familiarity with employee data management and confidentiality practices.


- Language Requirements

· Fluent in English.

· Additional language proficiency such as Mandarin is an advantage.


- Other Requirements

· Possession of own transportation for occasional travel between company sites if required.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities:


Compensation & Benefits Administration

· Support the administration, review, and maintenance of compensation and benefits programmes.

· Assist in the development and implementation of compensation policies, salary structures, and benchmarking exercises.

· Support annual compensation cycles including salary review, bonus administration, and benefits renewals.


Employee Benefits Operations

· Provide day-to-day operational support for employee benefits.

· Collaborate with external vendors and service providers related to benefits administration.


HR Helpdesk & Employee Support

· Manage HR Helpdesk enquiries by responding to employee queries related to compensation, benefits, HR policies, and HR processes within agreed service levels.


HR Data Management

· Ensure accurate and timely updates of employee records and HR data in relevant systems.

· Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with data confidentiality requirements.


Reporting & Documentation

· Prepare compensation and benefits reports, dashboards, and documentation for audits or management review.


Stakeholder Collaboration

· Work closely with Payroll, HR Business Partners, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth HR operations.


Compliance & Governance

· Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and internal HR policies.


Process Improvement

· Contribute to digitalization initiatives and continuous process improvement to enhance HR Helpdesk and Compensation & Benefits operational efficiency.


HR Projects

· Support local, regional, and global HR initiatives and projects as required.
