Meet the Team

Cisco’s acquisition integration ecosystem is an expert, close-knit, cross-functional team that thrives on the dynamic (and oftentimes ambiguous) nature of integration with the shared goal of helping acquired businesses succeed at Cisco and achieve the agreed-upon business outcomes.

Your Impact:

As a Corporate Development Acquisition Integration Manager for Corporate Development Integration (CDI), you will operate across both the design and the day-to-day execution of Cisco’s M&A integration practice. You will help evolve the integration methodology, operating model, and playbooks that define how Cisco integrates acquired businesses, and you will deploy, coach, and optimize those capabilities on active deals so the team executes consistently across every integration.

You will drive innovation by helping define the AI strategy and roadmap for the practice — then getting hands on keys to build it. As the builder, you will incubate Next Generation capabilities and emerging technologies like AI agents, working directly with Integration Leads and deal teams on active deals to experiment, refine, and deploy new tools and approaches.

You will prioritize and pilot what shows the most promise, measure impact, and graduate validated capabilities into standard practice. Partnering with the IMO and deal teams from diligence through execution, you will activate governance and best practices — including new AI-enabled tools — on every integration, validate plans, strengthen readiness, and surface process risks early. You will simplify and standardize processes, coach adoption of AI and other new capabilities across the integration community, and assemble practitioner feedback, adoption metrics, and process performance — using AI-driven insights to feed continuous improvement back into the methodology and roadmap.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in program management, business process transformation, or a similar business operations role, ideally within M&A integration or a large, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated experience designing or redesigning operating models, methodologies, or business processes.
  • Experience piloting or applying AI tools to improve business processes or decision-making.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on M&A integration experience spanning both integration build and deal execution.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents, automations, or other AI-enabled tools, from prototype through production adoption.
  • Strong process build and process intelligence skills — using KPIs, metrics, and operational analytics to identify bottlenecks and prioritize improvements.
  • Experience coaching teams and driving adoption
  • ·Executive presence and change leadership skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and build sponsorship for new ways of working.
