Through our internship, you’ll gain the experience, knowledge and skills to take your career to another level. Throughout this program, you’ll enjoy hands-on involvement in some of the ground-breaking initiatives we’ve got going on in Meineke. In addition to developing technically and professionally, you’ll be able to build a network of friends and contacts while discovering what it’s like to live, work and play.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with various business units, Meineke brand and Business Intelligence teams, to understand business needs, optimize processes, and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data challenges and provide actionable solutions, translating business requirements into data visualizations
  • Act as a bridge between Meineke and the BI/Data teams to align data needs with technical capabilities
  • Work with data preparation to efficiently design and manage data models. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across Qlik Sense/QlikView applications
  • Design, develop and implement interactive Qlik dashboards to track key business metrics and trends.
  • Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and storytelling.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making.
  • Communicate with managers and teams regarding the scope and progress of the work

Qualifications:

  • Juniors or Seniors pursuing a bachelor’s with a concentration in a quantitative field such as Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering or Physics
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills to explain data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Data visualization skills: quickly and effectively "tell the data story" and use visualization techniques to highlight salient points
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud)
  • Strong Qlik scripting skills for data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and data management.
  • Microsoft Office Proficient
  • Must be local to Charlotte, NC or surrounding areas to come in office with a hybrid work schedule
