Business Analyst – OpenLink

The Role
As a Business Analyst within Capco’s Business Consulting practice, you will support clients in the energy sector by translating business requirements into effective OpenLink solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders and technology teams to deliver high-quality consulting outcomes, supporting system implementations and transformation initiatives across trading environments.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate client workshops, interviews, and analysis to gather and document requirements
- Develop business requirements, functional specifications, and process documentation
- Analyze current and future state processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Support testing, training, and go-live activities to ensure successful delivery
- Produce clear consulting deliverables including reports, presentations, and proposals
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Business Analyst with OpenLink implementation and configuration
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Experience supporting testing cycles, user training, and production rollout
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, or Technology
Bonus Points For
- Experience within a management consulting environment
- Background in energy, utilities, or trading domains
- Experience contributing to business cases, proposals, or reusable consulting assets
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies and lifecycle management
- Basic scripting or technical understanding to support system analysis
