Responsibilities:
This position provides analytical support to a project or department. Under the guidance of a team leader, responsible for collecting and researching data, performing analysis, providing recommendations and presenting results.
- Provide leadership for projects with a small scope.
- Gain experience and build skills through on the job learning and guidance received from Business Analyst II
- Serve as a liaison between the internal/external business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization, manage changes to such specifications, and educate the IT organization on the direction of the business.
- Provide leadership to the project team for basic to moderately complex projects with small scopes.
- Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-entity, enterprise-wide initiatives that will encompass an end to end analysis
- Responsible for all communication, requirements gathering and documentation of assigned projects.
- Develop root cause analysis and business case for proposed solutions and process improvements
- Establish standards for measuring performance against process requirements
- Align projects to management strategy
- Produce new process improvement techniques and services
- Develop metrics that provide data for process management indicators for future improvement opportunities.
- Create, develop and maintain project timeline for key deliverables by developing project plan, monitoring milestone completion and coordinating project progress
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business or equivalent relevant work experience in business analysis, systems analysis and/or testing
- 3-5 yrs of work experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or testing.
