Responsibilities

  • Perform senior-level systems analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of applications and databases.
  • Develop and enhance complex applications and integrate third-party products and solutions.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable code.
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and support software applications using automated build, test, deployment, and quality practices.
  • Deploy code to development, test, and production environments and provide ongoing production support.
  • Submit and document change control requests and ensure compliance with established processes.
  • Lead and participate in system design reviews, code reviews, and testing activities throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet architecture, security, quality, and maintainability standards.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Mentor and support less experienced team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs and deliver technology solutions that meet those needs.
  • Communicate technical concepts and systems issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with Information Technology and Information Security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, including significant hands-on application development experience supporting complex enterprise applications.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and application architecture principles.
  • Experience analyzing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.

Required technical skills

  • Hands-on experience developing modern web applications using React and/or JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, microservices, and third-party solutions.
  • Experience with Git, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, automated testing, code scanning, and secure coding practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications in production, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance, resiliency, and incident resolution.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, application architecture, and cloud or enterprise hosting environments.

Preferred technical skills

  • Experience with identity and access management technologies and standards, including single sign-on, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
  • Experience applying AI-enabled engineering tools and practices to improve development speed, code quality, testing, and documentation.
