The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of campus facilities, including academic buildings, residence halls, and athletic facilities. This individual will work closely with the Assistant Director of Maintenance Operations to ensure that all maintenance work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard of quality. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and will help ensure that the campus facilities are well-maintained and provide a safe, comfortable, and functional environment for the campus community.
Pay: $70,000
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities- Manage a team of janitorial professionals and oversee their daily work activities.
- Prioritize janitorial tasks and ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard of quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify janitorial needs and potential safety hazards.
- Document all janitorial work performed, including work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.
- Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies needed for maintenance work, ensuring that all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and development of maintenance technicians.
- Develop and implement preventive janitorial programs to ensure that campus facilities are well-maintained and operational.
- Manage maintenance projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and repair work, with experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff, faculty, and students.
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
