The Director of Business Development will drive growth by identifying prospects, managing relationships, and developing strategic sales plans in the casualty insurance industry.

Manage and improve a service unit: supervise Team Managers and staff, drive local sales alignment, ensure service quality and compliance, oversee billing/DSO, hiring/training, budgets, audits, and participate in industry functions and special projects.

Manage and resolve non-complex liability claims from intake to closure, investigate coverage and liability, maintain documentation, set reserves, approve payments within authority, identify subrogation/recovery, and adhere to client/carrier guidelines while communicating with claimants and supervisors.

The role involves investigating and resolving complex commercial property losses, mentoring adjusters, preparing reports, and representing claims in legal proceedings.

The Executive General Adjuster resolves complex commercial property losses, negotiates adjustments, manages national accounts, presents evidence, and supports branch operations.
