Position Summary  

We're looking for someone special to join our team as a Writer and Research Specialist at Ever.Ag's market intelligence unit. This role is important for creating publications and reports. It helps us share valuable information with our clients and meet their needs. If you enjoy writing and researching, and you're good at making complicated things easy to understand, this might be the perfect job for you. 


Key Responsibilities  

 Writing and Consulting: 

  • Write regular publications. 

  • Add thoughts and ideas to make our publications better. 

  • Make sure our materials reach our clients. 

  • Research and prepare reports on a regular basis. 

  • Work with other team members to gather information. 

  • Make detailed analysis easy for everyone to understand. 

  • Help write for our clients when needed. 

  • Create materials for newsletters, presentations, and videos. 

  • Check all our materials before we send them out. 

Data Management and Analysis: 

  • Listen to client calls and share the important parts with the team. 

  • Present what you find in a way that everyone can understand. 

  • Lead or join other projects as needed. 

  • Other duties as assigned 


Qualifications  

  • You need a degree in English, Journalism, or something similar. 

  • You have 2 or more years’ experience creating reports, newsletters and publications  

  • Writing skills are essential. 

  • Some experience with layout and design tools like PowerPoint, Publisher, Photoshop, or InDesign would be great. 

  • You should be good at understanding market data and trends. 

  • Know how to use tools for delivering content to clients. 

  • Comfortable with using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. 

  • Knowing about the agriculture industry is a bonus.
