Where You Fit

The Digital Content Strategist produces and procures content for various online outlets to support customer deliverables. The Digital Content Strategist reports directly to the Digital Content Manager and indirectly to the Project Manager(s) of his/her/their respective customer team(s).

  • Creates organic SEO–focused content strategies for brands and/or individuals in a variety of industries.
  • Produces or procures content for various online outlets such as blogs, websites, and social media as needed to support customer deliverables.
  • Creates topical recommendations, article outlines, and/or optimizes customer content to capitalize on content opportunities identified by performing keyword research, competitor analysis, content mapping, and other types of content analysis. 
  • Analyzes content for consistency, accuracy, adherence to style and brand standards, and user experience implications.
  • Revises, edits, and proofreads creative content as needed.
  • Stays current on digital marketing best practices and techniques for creating effective and engaging web content.

How We Evaluate

  • Three or more years of professional work experience in a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
  • Excellent grammar, writing, copy-editing and communication skills, including the ability to adapt writing style to appeal to different audiences and adhere to established brand voices.
  • Previous experience in writing for the web.
  • Natural curiosity, strong research skills and enthusiasm for learning about new topics.
  • Familiarity with SEO and analytics reporting tools, to aid in content strategy and creation.
  • Basic HTML coding ability and understanding of WordPress and other content management system (CMS) platforms.
  • A deep understanding of how content can drive cross-channel business value.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $55,000 to $84,000. *This salary range is based off of the market pay for all of the United States; Terakeet applies a multiplier to this range based upon the specific geographic location of a job candidate*
