Position Summary:

SailPoint is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Product Management to lead the product strategy and execution for our core Identity Security Cloud offering. This critical role will drive the evolution of our flagship offering, ensuring it meets the complex security and compliance needs of our enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in identity security or a closely related field, coupled with a proven track record of scaling B2B SaaS products. You will work closely with the executive team to define product vision, translate it into a compelling roadmap, and drive exceptional execution to achieve our ambitious growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Product Leadership:

· Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.

· Conduct thorough market analysis, competitive research, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

· Collaborate with the executive team to prioritize product investments and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.

Product Roadmap and Execution:

· Develop and manage a comprehensive product roadmap, ruthlessly prioritizing features and initiatives based on changing customer needs, market trends, and business goals.

· Lead a team of product managers, providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to drive high performance and product excellence.

· Drive the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality products.

· Proven track record of conceiving, developing, and successfully delivering innovative AI-powered features that have driven significant customer value and business impact.

· Maniacally focus on execution, ensuring product releases happen on time and meet or exceed the expectations of our customers.

Customer and Compliance Focus:

· Deeply understand the identity security landscape and the evolving needs of enterprise customers.

· Possess a strong understanding of SaaS offering compliance standards, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and other relevant certifications.

· Engage directly with customers and partners to gather feedback, validate product concepts, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

· Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market execution.

· Act as a key product evangelist, communicating product vision and value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

· Define and track key product metrics, using data to inform product decisions and measure success.

· Analyze user behavior and market trends to identify opportunities for product optimization and growth.

· Present product performance and roadmap updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

· 10+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of leading and scaling B2B SaaS products.

· Deep understanding of identity security, IT service management, or human-centric security markets.

· Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP.

· Demonstrated ability to define and execute product strategy, from concept to launch.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Experience managing and mentoring product management teams.

· Experience presenting to executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with cloud-based identity security solutions.

· Experience with agile development methodologies.

· Experience working at a high growth SaaS company.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$226,800 - $324,000 - $421,200

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
