THE ROLE

VP of Operation is a high-impact role that brings together Business Operations, Data, and AI Transformation under one unified leadership charter. This is a seat at the senior leadership table, a direct partnership with the CEO, and a mandate to build the systems, processes, and AI-powered infrastructure that will take Torq from hypergrowth to market leader. You will drive cross-functional operational excellence and build the scalable infrastructure required for the hypergrowth torq is at. 

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

  • Lead a world-class team of Business Operations function spanning GTM Operations, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, and Customer Operations
  • Design and optimize end-to-end GTM and internal business processes to support scale
  • Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks across revenue-generating functions
  • Set the strategic direction for how data infrastructure evolves as the company scales
  • Own cross organizational data Provide strategic leadership function including revenue analytics, and customer insights
  • Champion a data-driven culture across the organization, ensuring clean, reliable, and actionable data
  • Enable self-serve analytics capabilities and partner with Finance, Sales, Product, and Customer Success on insights and reporting
  • Provide executive oversight of an AI Transformation & Business Systems function, including AI engineers and the Applications team
  • Set the strategic vision for AI adoption and integration into Torq’s internal operations
  • Identify opportunities to automate operational workflows using Torq’s own platform 
  • Govern the business systems stack to ensure scalability, reliability, and cross-functional alignment
  • Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team and bring operational rigor to strategic planning
  • Represent Operations in board and investor-level conversations

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 8-15+ years of progressive operations experience, including 3+ years in a VP or senior leadership role at a fast growing B2B SaaS company. 
  • Background in cybersecurity or enterprise security software.  
  • Proven track record of building and scaling ops organizations through hypergrowth 
  • Deep expertise across Revenue/GTM Ops, Data, Business Systems, AI and Automation
  • Strong people leader - experience managing managers and building multi-functional teams across diverse disciplines
  • Data-driven and systems-thinker
  • Experience owning a complex business systems stack (Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, or equivalent)
  • Comfortable operating at both the strategic and execution layer - you know when to delegate and when to roll up your sleeves
  • Excellent communicator - able to translate operational complexity into clear narratives for executives and cross-functional partners
  • Experience implementing AI/ML tools into operational workflows
