VP, MARKETING – CLIENT SOLUTIONS
 
Summary:
Reporting directly to the EVP, Marketing, the VP, Marketing – Client Solutions will be a critical leader in GSTV’s continued growth and market momentum and lead GSTV’s Client Solutions function in a player/coach capacity.
 
This role is an incredibly impactful and critical hire with accountability for achieving marketing goals across all revenue channels and driving a creative client solutions approach that aligns with GSTV’s sales and revenue goals. This person will be responsible for building and expanding GSTV’s current Client Solutions function and team in place today, elevating creativity, execution, and impact to the next level.
 
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
 
Sales Marketing Support
Providing end-to-end support for the New York and remote-based sales teams, including brainstorming, idea development and customization of client proposals and executions that win pitches and grow revenue. Inclusive of:
·       Ideating and creating customized pitches for major clients across all key categories, including CPG, Auto, Retail, Finance, QSR and other top categories
·       Collaborating with the VP, Marketing – GTM to innovate and deploy a “product marketing” approach that delivers tools and ideas to the Sales team to support and enhance the Sales strategy
·       Taking a storytelling approach (in partnership with Sales and GTM) to better position GSTV to clients, e.g., create client-specific value props, narratives, and story-flows
·       Developing and executing a collaborative content integration and client solutions strategy to leverage and monetize our existing and future content partnerships
·       Leveraging your expertise in digital to create audience and data first media solutions for clients and agencies that are not open to custom content
·       Partnering with the Insights team to incorporate relevant insights and data into client pitches and to ensure a candence of “Case Studies and Success Stories” are produced and elevated to the sales team
·       Attending client and agency meetings, with sales team, representing GSTV Marketing
·       Overseeing updates, organization, and engagement with sales collateral and tools in Highspot and other libraries
 
Revenue Strategy Development
Partnering with Marketing and Sales leadership to develop strategies, tactics, and recommendations that lead to an increase in revenue opportunities. Inclusive of:
·       Driving “focus account” strategic process from a marketing perspective by:
o    Understanding target accounts (planning cycles, historical data, etc.)
o    Applying a studied approach to these accounts (best marketing and messaging)
o    Developing solution-based programs that suit their needs (custom creative and/or productized media strategies)
·       Assigning focus accounts to Client Solutions Team and supporting the development of periodic Enterprise Business Reviews to strategically grow the client partnership and drive revenue
·       Creating a feedback loop with Sales to understand what is working and not working
·       Collaborating with Sales Leadership on establishing priorities and communication cadence
·       Developing internal sales comms that inspire and arm teams to make more powerful sales calls/ outreach
 
Project Management
Keeping multiple projects moving forward, proactive and reactive, while adhering to budgets and timelines. Inclusive of:
·       Collaborating with GTM, Retailer Success, Communications, Design, and additional stakeholders to develop collateral that is used at Industry Events and Conferences (NACS, etc.)
·       Building and maintain strong relationships with the Sales, Insights, and Consumer Engagement teams; working collaboratively with these teams to drive quality, data-driven, ideas and content integrations
·       Collaborating and fostering a true partner relationship with functional peers within and outside of the Marketing organization
·       Contributing to GSTV growth trajectory by driving operational excellence and collaboration within GSTV while elevating awareness, perception, and relationships externally with key agency, brand, and industry leaders
 
Team/Department Leadership
Coaching, mentoring, and developing staff. Inclusive of:
·       Developing and leading a creative, innovative approach to ad sales and client solutions
·       Leading employees to meet expectations for creativity, productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment
·       Planning and allocating resources to effectively deliver against departmental productivity and quality goals
·       Creating clear success metrics for the Client Solutions function and report on them monthly to EVP, Marketing
·       Working closely with EVP to develop, manage, track, and execute Client Solutions KPIs
·       Overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities
·       Maintaining employee work schedules including assignments, vacations, and paid time off, telecommuting, etc.

Requirements: 
 
Required Qualifications include:
·       Deep understanding of media landscape; media solutions and product offerings; media research capabilities; etc.
·       Highly creative; able to ideate and develop solutions that help engage clients and drive revenue for the GSTV sales team
·       Previous experience collaborating, developing, and packaging content partnerships
·       Proven experience collaborating closely with the sales and commercial teams to drive revenue and build relationships with agencies, clients, and retailers
·       Proven experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization successfully
·       Experience overseeing or being a significant contributor to a successful ad sales client solutions function with a strong creative and analytical blend
·       Proven leadership experience with a track record of successfully leading teams, driving performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment
·       Experience/knowledge in the following: Microsoft Suite of Tools including PowerPoint, Photoshop, Salesforce, Jira and email marketing tools
·       Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

Education and/or Experience:
Experience: 
·       10+ years of ad sales marketing experience in highly progressive and innovative media and/or content companies
 
Education: 
·       4-year degree in marketing, business, communications, or similar field from an accredited college or university
·       MBA or MA/MS preferred
