What you'll work on:
- Build and lead a world-class Events & Experiences team, structured to scale across regions, audiences, and formats.
- Design and deliver Circle's flagship events, creating distinctive and immersive brand moments for audiences ranging from C-suite executives to influencers, celebrity speakers, and media personalities.
- Develop and execute a cohesive field marketing strategy for participation in global industry and partner conferences, raising Circle's executive visibility and impact.
- Lead new formats and experiences tailored to developer audiences, including technical summits, hackathons, and community meetups.
- Establish and evolve Circle's experiential marketing framework, integrating storytelling, interaction design, and cross-medium creativity.
- Collaborate with Brand, Comms, Product Marketing, and Growth to ensure events support go-to-market objectives and reflect our narrative.
- Integrate innovative technologies (e.g., AI, VR, immersive formats) to redefine how Circle shows up in the world-online and offline.
- Develop performance measurement frameworks to track ROI, audience engagement, and long-term brand impact.
- Foster a culture of operational rigor, creative bravery, and high-caliber production across all stages of planning and delivery.
What you'll bring to Circle:
Core Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in event marketing, corporate engagements, field marketing, experiential marketing, or related disciplines.
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience building and scaling high-performing events teams.
- Proven ability to shape event content strategy-leveraging audience personas, market trends, and content frameworks to define themes, curate agendas, and identify high-impact speakers.
- Experience leading experiential programs in fintech, crypto, financial services, or innovation-focused industries.
- Demonstrated success delivering executive-level, invitation-only, and celebrity-attended events.
- Experience developing experiences for multiple audience types-including developers, policymakers, payments and banking professionals, and capital markets & global business leaders.
- Deep understanding of event strategy, production, design, and cross-channel amplification.
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Comms, Brand, Marketing Ops, and BD to align on goals and drive impact.
Preferred Requirements
- Track record of delivering measurable ROI and strategic outcomes through event-led engagements.
- Familiarity with immersive and multi-sensory event formats, including mixed-reality and generative tech experiences.
- Executive presence and discretion, with the ability to navigate high-profile personalities and sensitive stakeholder dynamics.
- Experience with strategies for a global audience, launching programs in APAC, LATAM, and EMEA that speak to regional behaviors and insights.
