Job Overview:

The Vice President, Premium Affiliation Strategy role reports to the SVP of Offering Strategy and plays a critical role in shaping how LPL defines, builds, and scales its Premium Affiliation offering and broader affiliation strategy.

This leader will help define and advance LPL’s Premium Affiliation value proposition—focusing on delivering a cohesive, differentiated experience for advisors aligned to premium affiliation models. This includes clarifying the Premium Affiliation identity within LPL, enhancing its strategic positioning, and ensuring the model drives meaningful value for advisors through tailored services, capabilities, and ways of working.

The role will partner across the organization to articulate how Premium Affiliation fits within LPL’s broader affiliation landscape, while helping evolve the model to support advisor growth, satisfaction, and long‑term retention.

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development & Market Analysis

  • Develop and refine LPL’s strategy for the Premium Affiliation offering and aligned advisor segments
  • Define and evolve the Premium Affiliation value proposition, including service model, experience, and differentiation within LPL’s broader ecosystem
  • Conduct competitive and market analyses to identify trends in affiliation models, advisor preferences, and operating structures
  • Leverage data analytics and business intelligence to generate actionable insights that inform Premium Affiliation strategy
  • Identify opportunities to expand capabilities, offerings, and experiences that strengthen the Premium Affiliation model and advisor outcomes

Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Execution

  • Partner closely with Product, Business Development, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Advisor Engagement teams to align on Premium Affiliation strategy
  • Support the integration of platforms, tools, and wealth solutions that reinforce the Premium Affiliation experience
  • Coordinate execution across business units to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and measurable outcomes
  • Work with recruiting and onboarding teams to strengthen the positioning and attraction strategy for Premium Affiliation‑aligned advisors

Advisor Experience, Engagement & Enablement

  • Translate advisor feedback, research, and internal insights into actionable enhancements for the Premium Affiliation experience
  • Help define engagement models, service pathways, and support structures specific to Premium Affiliation advisors
  • Develop clear messaging and materials to articulate the Premium Affiliation value proposition internally and externally
  • Drive advisor satisfaction, productivity, and retention by addressing key opportunities within the model

Project Management & Communication

  • Lead or support strategic initiatives related to Premium Affiliation positioning, structure, and execution
  • Coordinate and manage project plans across cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the Premium Affiliation strategy and roadmap
  • Manage multiple workstreams, balancing priorities across long‑term strategy and near‑term execution
  • Proactively communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to senior leadership through clear, executive‑ready materials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, and/or advisor platforms
  • 5+ years’ experience with affiliation models, advisor segmentation, value proposition design, and/or business line strategy

Core Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to drive and coordinate complex, cross‑functional initiatives and project plans
  • Background in corporate strategy, consulting, or business transformation
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment and translate data into actionable insights

Preferences:

  • Advanced degree in business, strategy, or a related field
  • Experience with advisor platform strategy, affiliation model design, or operating model development
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, data analytics, and business intelligence tools

Pay Range:

$159,959.00 - $266,564.00
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
