How You Will Make an Impact
- Proactively manage an assigned module of healthcare enterprise accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
- Meet or exceed monthly revenue and sales quotas by nurturing relationships, securing renewals and identifying new opportunities within assigned accounts
- Conduct regular face-to-face meetings and account reviews to assess needs, present solutions and secure additional business
- Serve as a customer advocate, interfacing with Spectrum departments to resolve issues, answer questions and maintain high service standards
- Maintain and update internal databases with accurate client information and contract details for regulatory tracking as needed
- Establish and monitor internal procedures to support assigned accounts and assist with collections when necessary
- Stay informed about service pricing, processes and promotions by completing required training sessions
- Attend sales meetings and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills
Working Conditions
- Office-based role with significant travel required to customer locations, including travel during inclement weather using a reliable personal vehicle
What You Will Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization (GED)
Experience
- Account management experience in healthcare or related field
Skills
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to meet a $3,000 monthly revenue quota
- Experience managing around 300 named accounts as an account manager
- Proficiency with ICOMS/CSG or other billing systems
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 30 percent of the time to assigned territories
- Valid and active State driver's license with safe driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Experience
- 5+ years of strategic account sales or account management experience
- 5+ years of experience with advanced voice and data networking (PRI, SIP, LAN, WAN)
- 5+ years of strategic account management in healthcare verticals such as pharmaceutical sales, surgical representative or hospital account management
Skills
- Experience as a successful internal "hunter" in sales or telesales
- Salesforce proficiency
- Aptitude for learning Spectrum's product suite
- Industry knowledge and strong attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
