Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic team player with SaaS retail solutions and/or automotive dealership experience who loves challenges, pushes boundaries and is passionate about delivering awesome customer experiences. In this role, you will work with our prospects, alongside our sales team to understand their specific challenges and goals, and help translate those needs into measurable benefits that Tekion can deliver.  This will involve financial analysis, cost-saving projections, increase revenue and efficiency metrics. Our transparent and collaborative culture means we work both independently and together as a team on projects in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage at various levels with prospects and customers as a subject matter expert on financial value and business impact from Tekion’s Automotive Retail Solutions.
  • Work with Prospects and Sales to drive to success metrics and value alignment that can be used to track progress over time
  • Work with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to ensure we have the right benchmarks and customer examples to ensure value is defendable and differentiated
  • Work with Sales team members in a player-coach capacity to ensure Value Selling can scale on every deal of every size
  • Focus on Sales process and Value tools and look to provide insight to remedy gaps
  • As an integral part of Worldwide Sales, work closely with regional Sales Leadership, Sales Directors, Product Management, Finance and Marketing to support and drive regional initiatives to improve pipeline generation and subscription revenue
  • Nurture and drive innovation of how we tell the story of: “Why do anything,” “Why now,” and most importantly, “Why Tekion?”
  • Work with Tekion’s internal teams to continuously refine Tekion’s financial value-based selling methodology including tools, deliverables, offerings
  • Support the Sales Operation/Sales team members to ensure meaningful and relevant value-based selling methodology, tools, etc.
  • Develop and improve competitive positioning and messaging to enable the VA and sales teams
  • Proactively contribute to Tekion’s Value proposition including thought leadership, speaking at professional conferences, etc.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong and demonstrable experience (10-15 years) in a SaaS Solutions Value Consulting
  • Compelling executive presence with the ability to build credibility and trust with senior executives from customer organizations.
  • Experience training sales teams on scaling value selling
  • 10+ years’ experience in either technology sales/pre-sales/sales support, management consulting, or industry practitioner
  • Domain knowledge is an additional benefit.
  • Strong financial modeling abilities and Value Management Solutions
  • Ability to travel 25% by car and plane.

The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to the compensation listed, this position may be eligible for equity compensation, and a bonus or commission whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual or company performance. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

Base Salary Range
$123,200$205,200 USD
