The opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced UX & Product Consultant to help us take our digital

products to the next level as they scale across the SWANA region, Europe, and the US.

This is not simply a UI design role. We’re looking for someone who can look at the entire

product through the eyes of the user and the business — from discovering an event and

exploring the experience, to purchasing a ticket, receiving it, and coming back for the next

one.

You’ll work closely with the client product, technology, business, marketing, and design

teams to identify friction, uncover opportunities, improve conversion and retention, and

shape the next generation of Tzkrti — including our upcoming user mobile app.

About the client

Our client is an online ticketing platform built to serve Arabic-speaking communities and audiences across the SWANA region, the US, and Europe.

They work with organizers, festivals, venues, and artists to make discovering and accessing events easier, more transparent, and more connected to the communities we serve.

We’re at an exciting stage of growth — expanding into new markets, evolving our platform, and building our next-generation user experience.

What you will do

  • Conduct a comprehensive UX and product audit of client website, identifying friction points, usability issues, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Map and analyze the full customer journey, from event discovery to ticket purchase, access, and post-event experience.

  • Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing, and behavioral analysis to understand what users need and why they behave the way they do.

  •  Improve navigation, event discovery, checkout, conversion, and retention.

  • Identify product opportunities that strengthen product-market fit and create measurable value for both audiences and organizers.

  • Help us adapt the product to different markets, cultures, and user behaviors as we expand internationally.

  • Translate insights into clear user flows, wireframes, product requirements, and actionable recommendations.

  • Work closely with our UI/UX designers and developers to ensure ideas are effectively translated into the product.

  • Help define UX priorities based on user impact, business objectives, and growth potential.

  • Contribute to the UX strategy and product development of the upcoming client mobile app.

  • Establish scalable UX principles, processes, and best practices as our product and team grow

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking, strong UX expertise, product intuition, and a genuine curiosity about how people use digital products.

You have:

  • Strong experience in UX strategy, user research, and digital product development.

  • Experience designing or improving consumer-facing digital products and complex user journeys.

  • A strong understanding of user behavior, conversion optimization, and product growth.

  • The ability to connect user needs with business and growth objectives.

  • Experience working with product, design, and development teams.

  • Experience taking products through growth, product-market fit, or international expansion.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with ticketing, events, marketplaces, e-commerce, travel, entertainment, SaaS, or high-growth startups is a strong advantage.

  • Experience designing for RTL and LTR environments is a plus.

  • The ability to work independently, challenge assumptions, and turn ambiguity into clear, actionable solutions

How the engagement works

This is a project-based contract role with a confidential client operating a growing digital ticketing platform across the SWANA region, Europe, and the US. The role is remote, with candidates in the MENA region preferred.

You will work closely with the client’s leadership, product, technology, business, marketing, and design teams to understand the existing product, identify user and business opportunities, and shape the next generation of the customer experience.

The engagement will begin with a comprehensive UX and product audit of the existing platform, covering the full customer journey from event discovery and exploration through ticket purchase, ticket access, and the post-event experience.

You will be expected to conduct user research, usability testing, journey mapping, competitive analysis, and behavioral analysis, translating findings into clear product recommendations and prioritized opportunities. The work may also include improving navigation, event discovery, checkout, conversion, retention, and overall product usability.

Beyond the initial audit, the engagement may expand into UX strategy, product discovery, user research, UX design, and the development of the client’s upcoming mobile application. You will work closely with designers and developers to translate research and product recommendations into practical user flows, wireframes, product requirements, and scalable UX solutions.

The role requires someone who can operate beyond UI execution — someone who can challenge assumptions, connect user needs with business objectives, prioritize opportunities, and turn ambiguous product problems into clear, actionable solutions.

The hiring process begins with a conversation with the client’s leadership team to discuss your experience, product/UX approach, relevant projects, and mutual expectations.

Candidates may then complete a short practical UX/product exercise designed to reflect the type of product audit, customer-journey analysis, and prioritization work involved in the engagement.

For a project-based consultant engagement, the work will be based on agreed scope, hours, deliverables, and pricing structure. You are expected to provide your own laptop and basic equipment, maintain reliable connectivity and a secure working environment, and follow required security controls, including two-factor authentication.

Industry note: Experience in ticketing, events, marketplaces, e-commerce, travel, entertainment, SaaS, or other high-growth consumer products is advantageous. Experience designing for Arabic RTL and English LTR environments is also a plus.
