Job Description:

We’re actively seeking a talented User Access Management (UAM) Manager who will be responsible for assisting with delivering administrative services and support across enterprise infrastructure and business line applications, while providing oversight, subject matter expertise (SME) and leadership to a team of UAM Analysts.  In this role, you will be responsible for acting as the primary point-of-contact for the security of our systems and data, assisting with controlling and supporting these resources to ensure the right people have access to the right resources at the right times and for the right purpose.  You will be regarded as a SME with end users within all Pacific Life divisions and business lines, other technologists and support staff and will be accountable to ensure service level agreements are met while keeping compliance and conformance to standards as top of mind. Finally, you will work to improve and track the maturity of the Identity & Access Management UAM services by showcasing customer experience, productivity, accuracy/quality, and resiliency.

How you’ll help move us forward:

  • Serve as a Manager of UAM for the IAM department.
  • Managerial oversight to analysts who grant and/or revoke user access to specific Pacific Life applications, systems, data and infrastructure based on individual user roles, permissions, and requirements.
  • Ensure analysts are complying with and enforcing Pacific Life’s internal security control policies and standards as they relate to access to resources, applications, systems, data and infrastructure in order to protect resources and sensitive information from cyber threats and to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular mentorship and guidance to UAM analysts to provide ongoing feedback and areas for opportunities pertaining to work performance while working in a rapidly agile environment.
  • Identify areas of improvement and proposals for the development of new automation of user access management using tools and technologies to streamline granting and revoking access to resources.
  • First point of contact to monitor Pacific Life’s compliance with Enterprise Information and Security Policy and Access Management Standard by performing regular audits of user access management activities.
  • Implement corrective actions to overcome any identified IT Security Access and Control Policy compliance errors and deficiencies.
  • Regularly review and update Pacific Life’s user access management operational policies and procedures to ensure they comply with any changes in Pacific Life’s Enterprise Information and Security Policy and Access Management Standard.
  • Partner with internal business and technical teams to ensure top-tier user experience while still upholding our IAM policies and standards.
  • Establish and drive the UAM program communications framework and metrics to ensure well-informed stakeholders, customers, and IAM colleagues.

The experience you bring:

  • 8+ years Information Security experience, with deep knowledge of directory services, ITSM, and IAM platforms (e.g. MS Active Directory, MS Entra ID, MS Office365, ServiceNow, CyberArk, SailPoint)
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing an enterprise IAM program or UAM/provisioning function.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills with an ability to motivate and provide positive, clear direction.
  • Technical understanding of Active Directory and Entra ID/Azure
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in general security practices, including Identity and Access Administration.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving/troubleshooting, and data management skills.
  • Ability to ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are followed by UAM Analysts in an agile environment.
  • Proven ability to influence and build partnerships with business stakeholders, including at senior management levels, in multi-cultural environments.
  • Ability to create, implement and track meaningful metrics and documentation to provide insights to drive the UAM program forward.
  • Ability to demonstrate and implement continuous improvement.
  • Experience with security governance, risk management, audit requirements, and security controls.
  • Strong communication, analytical, project management, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage complex activities simultaneously to shorten timescale
  • Understanding of ITIL Frameworks.

What makes you stand out:

  • BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA or other relevant security certifications and knowledge of ISO and NIST security standards preferred

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$138,150.00 - $168,850.00
