About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as an UAT Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating complex systems, developing and executing test plans, and ensuring the quality and performance of software applications across various platforms. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. You’ll become a product expert, working closely with customers and internal product and engineering teams to test, troubleshoot, and support product development across Sardine’s API-driven platform

The ideal candidate is technical, self-sufficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and product owners to understand user requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for Sardine’s product, including our dashboard, APIs, and mobile SDKs.

  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to ensure they are resolved before release.

  • Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Sardine to effectively predict, test, and prevent product issues.

  • Stay updated on product enhancements, new features, and industry best practices.

  • Perform root cause analysis on defects or system failures to identify underlying issues affecting application performance or stability.

  • Maintain documentation of test cases, test scripts, test results, and quality assurance reports in accordance with QA standards.

  • Provide technical support during release management cycles; assist in troubleshooting deployment issues within cloud environments like GCP or AWS.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years experience in a user acceptance or functional testing role at banks/fintechs

  • Experience supporting B2B SaaS products and/or working with banking infrastructure

  • Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and cloud infrastructure

  • Proficiency with SQL (joins, queries across multiple tables)

  • Understanding of REST API and use of tools like Postman

  • Ability to write Eval for AI Products

  • Ability to write structured test plans, along with step-by-step manual test scripts.

  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in high-pressure situations

  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies including functional testing, performance testing, automation testing, API testing, and user acceptance testing.

  • Strong communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Bonus: Prior experience performing testing in systems used by banks or governments.
