On behalf of UrbanTech Client #1, SD Solutions is looking for a talented Senior Platform Engineer you’ll own and evolve our AWS production infrastructure and build internal services and AI-powered automations that make our teams more effective.

This is an infrastructure-focused engineering role requiring deep AWS and Terraform expertise, strong production ownership, and the ability to build reliable platform capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and evolve platform services that improve productivity, reliability, and developer experience across the company.
  • Develop AI-driven tools and automations, including internal assistants, workflow orchestrators, and intelligent internal integrations.
  • Own and operate our production environments on AWS end-to-end, using Terraform to deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure.
  • Create self-service capabilities that allow teams to move independently without relying on manual processes.
  • Integrate platform components with our .NET and Python environments running on AWS.
  • Collaborate with Platform, Security, DBA, Product, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful, cross-organizational solutions.
  • Improve engineering efficiency through reusable templates, best practices, and inner-source contribution models.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of engineering experience, including significant experience in platform infrastructure, DevOps, site reliability engineering, or cloud engineering.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with AWS services and architecture, including EKS, Lambda, ECS, IAM, S3, networking, security, and high-availability design, together with advanced Terraform experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python; good familiarity with .NET.
  • Experience building or integrating AI-driven agents, LLM-based tools, or intelligent automation.
  • Proven experience owning production environments, including infrastructure changes, deployments, availability, observability, incident response, security, scalability, and operational maintenance.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • A mindset geared toward automation, scalability, and secure-by-default engineering.
