Job Description

The Managing Director will lead liquidity strategy and business development efforts for a portfolio of GPS clients. The individual will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite treasury executives and senior banking partners, driving growth in liquidity revenue, deposits, and broader treasury management opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

•              Leading the origination and execution of complex domestic and cross-border liquidity mandates.

•              Developing and executing client-specific deposit, investment, and balance sheet strategies.

•              Partnering with Corporate Treasury, Product Management, Treasury Coverage, and Corporate Banking leadership to align client solutions with enterprise objectives.

•              Sponsoring and leading strategic client engagements, major RFPs, and new business pursuits globally.

•              Influencing product innovation and strategic priorities through direct client feedback and market insights.

•              Providing senior leadership and mentorship to liquidity specialists and broader GPS sales teams.

•              Driving regulatory, risk, and compliance initiatives impacting liquidity products and client portfolios.

•              Delivering executive-level presentations and thought leadership to clients, industry forums, and internal stakeholders

Required Skills: "Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified

•  15+ years of banking, treasury services, liquidity management, or corporate finance experience.

•  Deep expertise in global liquidity, cash management, deposit products, and balance sheet dynamics.

•  Proven ability to influence and advise C-suite treasury and finance executives.

•  Demonstrated success managing large revenue portfolios and originating complex treasury solutions.

•  Strong understanding of regulatory, risk, and capital considerations impacting deposit franchises.

•  Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and executive communication skills.

•  Ability to build partnerships and influence outcomes across multiple lines of business and senior stakeholders.

•  Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, CTP, or other advanced designation preferred.

Desired skills:

•  Experience leading teams or serving as a senior subject matter expert across a global organization.

•  Strong knowledge of commercial banking, corporate treasury functions, and multinational cash management structures.

•  Demonstrated track record winning large-scale RFPs and cross-border treasury mandates.

•  Advanced analytical and strategic planning capabilities.

•  Executive presence with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external senior stakeholders

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$250,000.00 - $430,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
