The Trainee Program is a six-month, entry level, full time, immersive employment opportunity where you will gain practical industry experience. A full-time, permanent position at the end of the program is based on performance and position availability. 

 

Job Description 

DSA (dentsu Sports Analytics) is the full-service measurement arm of MKTG S+E, and is a leading sports and entertainment research and data firm. We’re looking for a passionate and driven individual with an analytical mind, who has an interest in the sports, entertainment, and lifestyle marketing industries.  We help clients achieve sponsorship and lifestyle marketing success through customized solutions powered by our proprietary and proven market research techniques. Our team of researchers and analysts conduct research around the largest sports and entertainment properties and events. DSA offers media analysis and valuation services, digital analytics, and quantitative and qualitative measurement research processes to determine return. The ability to understand data and communicate these findings to executives will be a critical skill. 

  • As part of DSA, you will be part of a close-knit team of analysts that: 

  • Help with quantitative and qualitative research projects (our research includes custom research solutions including using panels, executing onsite research, conducting focus groups, etc.) 

  • Participate in media research analysis/rights valuation. 

  • Support social media analytics and listening workstreams. 

  • Provide sales activity support for business development efforts. 

  • Travels to sports and lifestyle events to conduct research (includes planning logistics, managing a team of interviewers, etc.). 

  • Help develop creative ideas, undertaking research as requested and ensure ideas are possible to implement within specific parameters and budget 

QUICK FACTS: 

  • Program start date: Monday, July 13, 2026 

  • This role requires 3-4 days each week on location along with other days as needed. This role will be in the following locations: Charlotte, NC – Cincinnati, OH – Norwalk, CT – New York City 

  • This application deadline is April 24, 2026 at 4pm Eastern. 

  • You will be reporting to someone more senior on the team. 

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree with experience in Sports Management, Market Research, Economics, Business Management or related field 

  • Quantitative analysis skills and Excel skills 

  • Interest in sports, entertainment, and lifestyle marketing (think sports, music, and culinary events!) 

  • Consider yourself a “hand raiser.” and be able to "think on your feet" 

  • Can work within a team and be proactive in seeking solutions to problems. 

  • Ability to demonstrate courteousness in all situations. 

 

Additional information 

The hourly pay range for this position is ($19.23 per hour). The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
