The Boeing Company is seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer (Associate, Experienced, or Senior) to join our team in Eglin AFB, Florida, less than 10 miles from white sand beaches, water sports, and the many outdoor activities of the Gulf Coast.
This individual will support F-15 flight test activities, providing real-time telemetry and data recording for testing and analysis of new and upgraded capabilities across F-15C, F-15E, and F-15EX aircraft.
You will routinely work on a variety of engaging projects and advanced technologies integrated into F-15 fighter aircraft, collaborating directly with test engineers and analysts to evaluate cutting-edge systems in a team that values innovative problem solving. Position Responsibilities Include:
  • Plans, configures, and operates flight test telemetry ground stations to capture real-time flight data
  • Monitors telemetry data streams during flight tests to ensure data quality and system performance
  • Installs and configures hardware and software in the mission control room
  • Collaborates with flight test engineers, aircrew, and data analysts to support test objectives
  • Troubleshoots and resolves telemetry system issues during pre-flight, flight, and post-flight phases
  • Maintains telemetry monitoring equipment, including workstation computers and displays, network decryptors and switches, and data recorders
  • Develops and updates telemetry system documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports
  • Supports integration of telemetry systems with other flight test instrumentation and ground stations
  • Ensures compliance with safety and security requirements related to telemetry operations
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance telemetry system capabilities and reliability
  • Loads and zeroizes keys in encryption and decryption equipment
  • Performs data transfers to/from secure networks

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 1+ or more years of experience working in a flight test and/or airplane/systems integration lab test environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 3: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 4: 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Level 2: $85,000 - $115,000
Level 3: $103,700 - $140,300
Level 4: $126,650 - $171,350
